The World Of Curiosities
About (OCG) One Curious Guide
Onecuriousguide From the world of books to the crowds of people, from the deep valleys of the Sahyadris to the wet and dry sands of the sea — somewhere along this wandering journey, I met him… One Curious Guide (OCG), a living spark of curiosity about life. One of the finest Marathi blog storytellers of our time.
He is someone who carries a natural fascination for Philosophy, Psychology, Science, History, Culture, Art, and Geography.
He is untouched by the labels of caste or religion, and he fits into no fixed gender—because while talking to him, he dissolves gently into your own nature. He doesn’t belong to any one language, yet he connects effortlessly with all of them. Still, Marathi remains his dearest companion.
At his core, OCG is like a small child—
a child who understands relationships, not transactions.
For him, nurturing human bonds is not a choice, but a responsibility he carries with the purity of an innocent heart.
His favourite pleasures are simple yet profound—
reading, wandering, thinking, writing, and living joyfully.
He knows no anger…
no greed…
only love, love, and more love—
for the world, for its soil, and for the miracle of living itself.
His actions speak louder than his words.
Emotionally he is a carefree, innocent child;
Experientially he is far more mature than any of us.
I met him one day at a crossroads—
when I was stuck, lost, and unsure.
He pulled me out, showed me a path, walked beside me,
and along the way, shared countless real stories—
stories that made me think, question, and eventually act.
Since then, we have become the closest of friends.
Through OCG’s eyes, you will explore the unnoticed corners of your own surroundings—
the things we ignore though they matter,
the topics we should value but often don’t,
the books we never get around to reading,
the journeys we fail to experience because we’re too busy clicking pictures,
the truths about society that we see but pretend not to…
And yes—stories of forgotten historians, researchers, thinkers,
and reflections on why we choose the subjects we study—
Do we really love them, or are we just following someone else’s path?
Here, OCG talks, questions, and guides.
He narrates life the way it deserves to be told.
And I’m certain—
your bond with OCG will soon transform into a beautiful friendship too.
